Private beta

The beta covers community metrics that the public tracker does not publish: longer histories, daily activity series, category rollups, and the forecast files behind the track record. Access is granted per account and per tier.
- Observer
- Community-level metrics and history beyond the public tracker.
- Analyst
- Everything in Observer, plus daily activity series and category rollups.
- Partner
- Everything in Analyst, plus pre-release forecasts and raw metric access.
Not in the beta yet? Request access, or keep using the public subreddit tracker, which needs no account.
What an account stores
Plainly, so you can decide before you sign in
- Your credentials
- Your email address and a one-way hash of your password. The password itself is never stored and cannot be recovered from what is — a reset issues a new invite instead.
- Your sessions
- A random session token, held in a cookie that only this site can read, plus the approximate country and a salted fingerprint of the network address you signed in from. Addresses are never stored in a readable form.
- Why the address fingerprint
- It is how a shared or stolen account is spotted during the beta. It cannot be turned back into an address, and it is not used to build a reading history.
- Leaving
- Ask and the account, its sessions, and its audit rows are deleted. See the privacy page for the full account.
